This webinar will introduce you to the concepts and activities of the Restorative Justice movement and its relevance to financial therapy. There are two components to this. First is to increase general awareness and understanding of Restorative Justice. This includes its use in schools, communities, prisons, and other institutions. It is very likely that at some point you will encounter clients in your practice who have participated in a Restorative Justice program so this could be useful background. Another aspect of this is to increase awareness of  the role Restorative Justice is playing in working to build a more just and equitable society. Particularly in addressing issues such as mass incarceration and the school to prison pipeline.
At its core, Restorative Justice is about resolving conflict. This is the second component of the webinar. We will look at the approach Restorative Justice uses in conflict resolution and its relevance to financial therapy. We will review a couple of scenarios to illustrate this.
